love this, thanks for sharing @jhv. @ethreasurer Curious if you think the phased airdrop concept has played out well. Arbitrum, Optimism pioneered it but it has also led to the whole low float high FDV meta in some senses...

Good question. Personally, I really like it. You keep people engaged for longer and you can optimise criteria going forward depending on what the priorities/needs are, who you want to incentivise etc. High FDV/low float is another debate. I think the main issue here are inflated FDVs, cont’d below

So in terms of sustainability, a reasonable valuation would be the solution. And of course how do you mitigate the sell pressure with high float and significant valuation. Another question that we need a whole podcast (@jhv should we do it?)
