Good point. Perhaps “selected, focused, mission-driven investment” might have been a better way to capture the nuance.

If a person writes many checks, they each reflect less conviction.

I think exclusive focus is the strongest form of conviction.

I hear you on that, but I don’t believe in the narrative that you must sacrifice your earnings in the name of conviction.

Time and a place for both, but in my experience conviction grows deeper when your labor can provide for your family.
