agree opportunity cost and conviction aren’t *always* correlated, tho i think they *often* are: when investors commit cash and employees commit hrs they are usually both aligned from a risk/reward, and thus conviction perspective. only material diff is the specific units of value

I hear you on that, but I don’t believe in the narrative that you must sacrifice your earnings in the name of conviction.

Time and a place for both, but in my experience conviction grows deeper when your labor can provide for your family.
