I grew up learning not to take career risks. Be a doctor (was pre-med) or work way up a mega corp (joined AIG)

I didn't feel taking risks was available until my husband @wwarren who grew up having an entrepreneur dad encouraged me it's an option

Feel very lucky to be able to and feel comfortable with taking risks

i didn’t have someone from my inner circle for that but grateful for the internet making startup stories accessible.

i was the only one in my group of friends who joined a startup back then and i’ve never regretted any part of it. funny enough, found out my high school desk mate cofounded a (biotech) startup too!
