would love an auto translate feature where ppl can write in their native language and we read in our native language i.e. i pick my read language as english, but they can write in whatever language they want feel there a lot of ppl who are not native to english trying to converse, but it might not all come across

There was a push for this before. I’m in some Japanese communities too. There is a translate action but it just notifs you the translation.

Yeah, totally agree on that! Sometimes I have to search for the translation of the words on my language to English. Farcaster is a united place, but talking with different communities would give us even more insights, POVs, culture, etc...

This would be really cool actually. ChatGPT does a very good job of translation from language to language without losing context, slang, etc. (way better than something like Google translate). There must be a way to somehow integrate a tool like that.

Great idea. I sometimes need to open Google translate because I’m not really sure on how to write up some words. With all the technology nowadays it must be possible I guess. (I haven’t used Google translate this time) ;-)

you are absolutely right, i have an advantage i can read fluently 4 language so if they write in english and its translated from the native language i can undertand what they say... but it can be challenging if you are only an english speaker.
