crypto haters are absolutely terrified of onchain consumer apps taking off lol it disproves their entire thesis that itโs only speculative assets the good news is, talk is cheap af and means nothing long term crypto is much more than an asset class, the western world is slowly waking up to this ๐

portable social graph + auth + built in micropayments is massive, because it means smaller social ideas that wouldn't be able to reach a critical mass of users on their own become viable so excited to see what else gets built that not just substitutes the old but does new things that aren't economically viable rn

Most people donโt know what is a blockchain technology and how it works. It creates a feeling of scam. Such products as Farcaster can be treated as gates to crypto world. I think we need to keep in mind - in avg personโa mind, crypto is everything they donโt understand about computers and finance pulled together
