feel itβs never been more important to actively think about our biases, what causes them, and if theyβre serving us as speed of change continues to accelerate, open mindedness is gonna become increasingly important π±

How do you put yourself in a state where you are aware of which bias is potentially in play?

can never get to all bc so many are in our subconscious, but i do think we can often ask ourselves - whatβs led me to think this, am i being overly swayed by anything, and prob most importantly whatβs taking the other side look like

Yeah, I find it difficult to intercept myself, it's almost always hindsight. But it serves for something I guess! Actually just found this in another cast. "The G. I. Joe fallacy refers to the misguided notion that knowing about a bias is enough to overcome it (Santos & Gendler, 2014)." π€£
