ladies 30+ what is the best thing you've done for your skin? from topicals to lasers to injectables to surgical intervention, i'm curious what's been worth it to you! (besides daily SPF - we can all agree that's the absolutely necessary one)

I used to have terrible acne. People would remember my acne but never my name so skin has been a journey. Medical - chemical peels for discoloration and acne scars. 2-4x a year, I did this like every other month for 5 years to get it where it is today - lasers like clear and brilliant or laseMD for age spots and collagen. Once a year in the winter time for 4-5 sessions via package. - botox to raise my eyebrows to look awake Over the counter - spot treatment with retinol on active zits for high cellular turn over; kill bacteria and remove dark spots left behind β€” MAGIC - acid toner @ night with LHA/BHA every other day bc I have small pores so clean pores from pollution and bacteria - rich night cream with peptides and ceramides - tinted sunscreen for day time only

Ask me any skin care questions. I’ll give you a goody bag of samples next time I see you. I mainly use La Roche Poshay which is on Amazon and drugstores. My dermatologist got me onto it like 7 years ago. Cetaphil is also great and gentle. The doc can write a script for free too. Daily products at affordable prices then investing in the lasers 1-2x a year is the smart way to go IMO

nice okay yeah these are brands i already use/have access to in canada also so that's perfect! i've been using cetaphil since i was a teenager but i'm moving to cerave - i think i need a bit more from my cleansers now with how my skin has changed over 15 years. def more into your vibe of "affordable consistent daily maintenance + a few extras throughout the year" you're the best ty xoxo

I would try that retinol AND vitamin C for day time. Cetaphil makes better versions of them than LRP due to packaging for shelf stability.

Yes! That brand for Retinol and Vitamin C specifically. The packaging won’t let in air to oxidize the active ingredients. Very important to consider with skincare. Droppers are aesthetically pretty but not practical bc you just lose the value of ingredients overtime.
