In 2013, David Graeber published an essay in the radical magazine Strike!, “On the Phenomenon of Bullshit Jobs,” in which he argued the futility of many contemporary jobs, particularly those in the fields of finance, law, human resources, public relations, and consulting. Its popularity, with more than a million hits, crashed the website. The essay was later expanded into a book published in 2018.

It's not really a theory. It's based on facts. But the terms he came up with are very funny. He had a knack for combining those two. He is sorely missed. 200 $DEGEN
