what is something people think is important for running a fund that isn't true? and vice versa- what is something people ignore often but matters a lot?

It's shocking how you don't actually have to be a good investor to run a fund, just need to be well connected to LPs / good at fundraising For some reason the bar is low on responsiveness to portfolio companies. It's really important to me but shocked many investors don't respond / take forever to get back to founders
