decided to treat myself to something I’ve wanted for a while: a Remarkable tablet. I splurged and got the Paper Pro. I’m treating it as an investment in less phone distraction. Anyone use that or the Remarkable 2? What do you think? Pros/cons? I can get my money back if I don’t like it so low risk.

It’s interesting how different cultures celebrate the same holidays in their own ways.

First impressions: - we don't post here, we cast - no videos, why?! - lots of features, little explanation - it's refreshing to only see people I follow

The hardest lessons often come disguised as failures. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes—they lead to growth.

/dialectic w/ Steph Ango (@kepano) is out now. Steph is a designer, artist, entrepreneur, toolmaker, and CEO of /obsidian, the tool I use to write, think, and store my ideas. This is a must-listen for any designer or creative person. We discuss constraints, style, principles, reduction, digital durability, investing time, choosing what to work on, compounding, patience, and communicating your ideas. Steph has worked across mediums: hardware, software, industrial design, packaging, open-source, content, instruments, and more. He's a toolmaker first and foremost, and we talk about how creative constraints enable us to stoke the flame inside us. Steph is a prolific writer whose clarity and concision inspire me, and we discuss many of his most empowering ideas. I believe these ideas will challenge you in unexpected ways and push you to be more creative, agentic, and optimistic. i know embedded wallets reduce app switching and make for a smoother UX. but forcing me to fund a wallet is enough friction to make me abandon the app before trying it. what if you could just sign one txn from your wallet to allow the app to spend on your behalf without the need to deposit funds? https://zora.co/collect/zora:0x5abf0c04ab7196e2bdd19313b479baebd9f7791b/371
