Yees, quite early in the morning trying to avoid the crowds ( ^ω^ )

We were at the shrine at 7 a.m., and it was already starting to get crowded. By the time we left, there were about six times as many people as when we arrived.

We didn’t try to get to the top of the mountain because of the heat.

We almost died in the bamboo forest because of the heat. We actually came back to the hotel because my wife wasn’t feeling well for that reason.

It’s sad because we know we’d love everything we’re visiting, but the heat is turning it into a bad experience.

Ok so pro tip? We’ll be there super early for the crowds so I can get some photos. Gonna also veer to the side to see the bamboo forest. Come down and eat lunch at gyukatsu. Anything I’m missing?
