I'm afraid of Wilson's idea. I'm also happy to be proven wrong be Wilson and other braver souls :) I worry we'll hurt the brand if: - we end up funding subpar proposals because we feel rushed and better props aren't showing up - we end up burning a lot and many ppl feel it's a giant waste

agree and feel the same, its def risky. but - is it not the inevitable? forget the burn and lets assume the arb magically disappears, what makes us think that weβd spend more (or less) thoughtfully then? imo, the burn (or any forcing function) just gets us to the endgame faster. we will learn the truth.

I want to learn faster, on that we're aligned. I fear the fast pace of spend or burn will lead to some pretty bad spending. More than ever we'll be a grift target, and more than ever the grift will work out. Much to say about this, not enough characters π

One easy thread to pull: we are not clear on our existing builders who's amazing and who isn't. When familiar names will come for more, we will default to yes more than ever before. And in the less awesome cases the outcome will be net negative.

I donβt quite agree with this. this assumes instituting the burn resulting in the voters lowering voting standards but at least so far voters have been tougher in season 3 than season 2 and I have a speculate a high prop volume will drive it to be even more competitive and higher
