The Nouns Arb Game @davidbr and I spent a lot of time discussing it with Nounfolk. We realized the burn won't solve it fast enough and paused to think. I actually really like the 0% threshold solution. Getting new members into Nouns DAO through the auction should be above eBV with a meme premium. By keeping the threshold at 0%, arbs can easily escape at a barely break even until a real bidder comes along. @el4d excellent write up :)

This was really well-written @el4d and @davidbr, thanks for breaking it down for us so well. This whole thing is one big experiment and part of experimenting is being willing to correct course when the data tells a different story than we maybe expected. 🫡

Great analysis! Were there any variables you considered adding to the model but ended up excluding? For example, inability to fork unless you’ve been a Noun owner for a specific period, or if the Noun has been in circulation for a period?

Isn’t this what @jarmen was discussing the other day? I know he’s been working on People, Places & Things (their prop from Gardener Round 1) which was also going to include membership data. Will be great to be able to see these live stats in a dashboard etc 🤓
