Took a few minutes with my new recording setup today to talk about something that's been on my mind lately -- The Pendant Problem My thoughts on why some of the first AI hardware/pendant products are falling short, and what a happier medium might look like

great points, fully agree. AI branded wearables are taking on too much for their V1s and setting themselves up for disappointment straight out the gate i also feel like some of them are missing the plot by *not* being always on and gathering context in the background - otherwise you're barely more useful than siri

I kind of want a dumb phone and a smart pin. But a touch screen is a really hard interface to beat. Voice control is disruptive or fails in way too many cases.

Nice! Well presented & nice setup I find the âdo one thing like translation amazingly wellâ argument compelling The other route is building the future: imo Humane definitely wanted the Pin to be an iPhone Moment. Did Not Work. I think pendants are worth doing from a recording perspective, then use a phone app
