two loose thoughts on streaks from my experience: - good motivator for me to keep posting content, but haven’t necessarily seen it reflected in channel growth - steady channel growth can be tough or require some real solid tactics/GTM has anyone else had any similar thoughts?

also there are obv big channels so it’s not as if one can’t be grown, not necessarily the point I’m trying to make here

Same feelings. Been thinking about making a client for the channel specifically

Streaks seem to work when I feel like there’s a benefit outside of the streak itself (ie with Duolingo, I’m learning a language) Channel streaks feel empty because it’s not clear what I’m actually getting out of it

1. fun experiment but quickly becomes a burden (depends on how open-ended a channel is, the more thematic a channel, the faster it becomes burdensome) 2. FC lacks critical mass of audience to grow one's channel effectively - after all a channel is grown mainly by its audience and less so its owner

i stopped posting on /consumercrypto after 50days. it became more like "oh, i need to post" so casts weren't that thoughtful or i'd only reply to someone to maintain the streak i didn't see it adding much value for me

I agree Streaks keep you consistent but it take more than that for growth, do you have any strategies
