the one issue that I am watching to be solved is discoverability for channels. need people really going to view the channel feed vs just homefeed. Not sure if channel clients or webpages are enough to change that behaviour. Interested to see new mod opportunities make feeds more pleasant. /dev suffered from that

Most people just stick to the home feed and notifications. Most people don't want to do work.

People use channel feeds heavily on Reddit, but maybe the content form factor there lends itself better to that

Would be nice if someone could send a channel-specific invite to onboard new users So once the user joins they’d auto-follow the inviter and the channel

I agree with that. It's one of the reasons why I have become uninterested in hosting/starting new channels. Just build accounts. Announcement accounts and big personal accounts for branding/positioning. Seems higher leverage. Only thing a channel is good for is categorization. customer support maybe, but can be @buoy
