There will be a bunch of communication to channel owners about the changes (beyond just casts) 3. One point of clarification that I saw come up yesterday: membership does not require your channel to have a token. Can you choose to do that? Yes! Are you required? No. Your channel, your rules. One idea I had: possible to add authors with Automod liked casts to initial channel members list at the time this change is made? Reduces work to add them back by hand

Would be fairly easy for someone to build a tool that would enable you to send membership invites over the api to anyone who has been previously moderated into a channel The question is: would channel hosts pay $10 for the service? If not, than no one is likely to spend time building it.
