To me. The most impressive overlooked idea is that LLM are a representation of the last ~30years of human "digitized" knowledge, fractions of human history, although not perfect, shows how much we underestimate and struggle to conceptualize impacts. browsing is definitely on a new highway.

So you mean as an interface for the actual browsing queries? There would still be a need for displaying the content. How and why would that be different from web browsers today?

I think it will make us really re-think what a web browser should look like It should be more of an action agent, which is where LLMs will really help us. There's lots of space to explore an alternate interface that focuses on our actions and not this arbitrary notion of tabs & windows

If we can get it to reference sources (easier said than done I’m sure) it would be a game changer for research. Even in its current form it’s great for learning about things at a high level. It’s like having a tutor by your side that you can ask questions related to the context.

A block explorer powered by LLM would be interesting.

I think LLMs are just phase 1. I think multi modal (audio, video, text) is when shits going to get real fun

Kill web browser ? I think maybe kill *some* uses of web browser But possibly kill AI Assistants like Siri, etc if hooked up to a text-2-voice (unless ofcoz Assistants from Apple, Amazon, Google step up and release their superior LLMs)
