Should we rebrand Warpcast to Farcaster?

We separated Warpcast (the app) from Farcaster (the protocol) a few years ago. 

We've heard from many new users that this is very, very confusing. People hear about Farcaster, search in the app store, can't find anything called Farcaster and then churn.

tbh boomers and gen z started calling it “chat”

the chat part sets up something familiar and describes the interface. GPT creates a weird curiosity gap. not popular but I think this is actually a good name with utility built in.

ChatGPT succeeds in spite of its unfortunate name. It’s such a great product that it rises above OpenAI’s self inflicted handicap.

Imho They just had a killer product, they could have named it woalnxjdirjeqlfsjw and would have still been successful

A successful “brand name” sells faster than its product

To be fair although its not the most creative name it is short, memorable and easy to search for - it is far more functional than the majority of startup names since it is the name of the product instead of some weird artistic paintbrush sounding name.
