1. Channels are spaces run by individuals groups 2. Not giving them control gives them less incentive to invest in their channel—defeats the "my channel, my rules" shift

they still have control, members still show up higher, but people you follow/friends could be shown under, at least without an extra click? for channel owners, they won’t see the same replies you will under those from members maybe it’s just weird while the channel changes are still recent
