I continue to be absolutely astounded by Countries choosing to give up their energy independence and go back to reliance on oil & coal.

So the Twitter/FC armchairs have, of course, caught a blatantly obvious strategic mistake that the Taiwanese government didn‘t spot

Taiwan doesn't manufacture their nuclear reactors, so it's definitely a great burden lifted from their shoulder. They were maybe going through a conflict underground or something

observation: in this era if you want to negotiate US protection you must buy lots of US goods. 

...and hope that the deal isnt altered further
