There’s sometimes a momentary emotional reaction, but generally not fomo driven. Wouldn’t have started working on decentralized social networking protocol in 2020 with @v if we were.

We’re focused on retained, quality DAU. Everything else is noise.

I would love to have URL notifications, i.e. if you share a link on my blog on Farcaster, I can sign either at the DNS level or in an HTML meta tag that the author was @dwr.eth on Farcaster and then I natively get a notification like a normal at mention.

I think base level custody for consumers is commodity in the medium to long term.
