yaaa, BUT, e.g. Chrome on iOS seems to be artificially held back. E.g. Chrome iOS users cannot add a webapp to home screen. And I doubt that‘s caused by Google being late and more by Safari having privileged OS access. It‘s so sad that these companies put their profit motive before building an open web.

Actually that might be the ideal place to do it. Crypto is the area which feels perhaps the greatest pain from App Store approvals.

And Coinbase has sufficient distribution to boot something up.

So you start a clean “mobile web App Store” with reviews and star ratings for just crypto apps, and then go from there.

I wish the installation and discovery process for Home Screen Web Apps was better.

Maybe @jessepollak could add something that looks exactly like the Apple App Store to Base…with reviews and star ratings and everything…except it’s running in a mobile browser, and “install” installs a Base crypto web app.

This is the way.

It's taken the market long enough.
