"Warpcast needs to do a better job with threads" What does that concretely mean? How is X / Twitter better? e.g.

It’s not that Twitter is better / worse It’s that threads and long deep conversations are such a heavy reason people love FC and connect via Farcaster So helping surface these conversations and enabling them with a great UI is the ask

Right, so what you’re asking for is something that doesn’t exist somewhere else. That’s a different ask than “Warpcast is bad at it”. :)

Warpcast already has threads like this. What users like me are hoping for is to have this show up more often and include 2nd and 3rd level replies instead of just first level. Similar to how Reddit does it, which by Reddit having done it is not a new UI paradigm luckily Though the discovery of these deeper conversations via say the algo which gets back to „channels as public group chats“ that is net new yes, though by starting with the UI first would be 1) less time intense 2) a good check if a great conversation UI retains better and leads to more conversations

imo the message is "people find [deep] wc threads painful today" and whether they are painful or not on x too isn't particularly relevant (multiple issues elsewhere in this thread are legit -- ai agents in particular have been stress testing ~this lately)

Tap on the thread I link here, and you'll be taken to the top of the thread - not to the cast I linked. Also, if you try to follow the conversation between aethernet and mfergpt you have to constantly click on each reply to see one new reply... Perhaps consider expanding a full reply thread between two parties after the first click? https://warpcast.com/rjs/0x8bbb57a6
