I'm not very sophisticated and tend to just look at price first and foremost. I often remember for each asset previous prices and so its a reference

It shows the relative change % for that

He might have meant in general. Like oh last time i checked was3 days ago and the price was x, now its y.

Agreed. If I know what the price used to be at some point in the past then I want to see the current price.
