How does Worldcoin plan to solve for people in wealthier countries not wanting to scan their eyeballs (because the UBI isn't meaningful enough)?

Likely through a long tail of value props beyond the financial incentive For example, apps that require proof of personhood to use them, or voting schemes that require you to verify as a unique human Also early adoption of new technology often happens in developed countries b/c it is seen as high status

"historical" is a stretch but these guys started in Africa due to regulatory hurdles in the US: https://www.flyzipline.com still largely built in half-moon bay, though.

They experimented in Ghana, yes. But to say the developing world adopted the technology first is a bit of a stretch. The company has a partnership with Walmart and one of the only drone companies with FAA approval for consumer deliveries. https://www.google.com/search?q=walmart+zipline
