How would this section be modified? It would cost less warps to invite a friend?

Why not try an approach where users can distribute a limited number of free invites, determined by their organic far score, for example? The storage can be the same as everyone else's. I’d even go further and say I’d gladly support the project with a fixed percentage of the tips I receive. As a user benefiting from the monetization opportunities you’ve created, I owe you at least that. This way, you can deduct storage funds that deplete proportionally to my activity, and I’ll also contribute to funding the project to ensure its long-term existence from which, among other things, I also have a financial interest. Most users would probably agree, as long as the deductions happen automatically.

That’s great for a massive influx of bots (they do not need to maintain following or casts). I do not see how that could improve retention or content quality. That’s just increasing signups, same as what marketing would do, and this is useless if there is no retention as you already stated. A good way to increase DAUs without breaking the hubs architecture though.

posting my reply here too. would it in way limit access to frames? if not, the App Store nature of frames could be used to generate infinite hooks for both the “free” and longer term user bases of the platform.

An experiment worth trying. Removing barriers/friction is always a winning move.

First time I wanted to sign up I got discouraged bcs of 5 bucks. Stupid, I know. But still, it's probably a matter of principle for a lot of people. IMO having no cost then hooking them with "quality content" and paying for storage would be better. Or at least a good experiment, if there was a way to discurage bots.

I think it’s a concept worth piloting. I think it’s fair to expect a noticeable skew in the sign ups vs active users. But removing(or basically removing) barrier may be good for folks who are on the fence

Need to make it clear with users I guess Sounds like a trial version and could show like a progress bar with remaining activity + upgrade btn

Yes this is great Alongside this, I think it's important to have an easy process to upgrade your storage so that users aren't left confused if they hit storage limits. Maybe a pop up or something prompting them to pay to increase their storage or maybe even FC sponsors new users who hit storage limits as a retention/growth experiment

Better add a low-key free way, some follows some likes. Add some proofs worldcoin, and what else not to prevent sibil
