If Marc Cuban had built SpaceX and Tesla, would respect him the same

the direction of the country != Elon Musk

That's an absurd simplification of 75 million Americans that just voted.

Based on the conversations on MoZ, I'm doubtful you wouldn't be more concerned about the direction of the country and wondering if he lost his marbles.

Is Elon an elected official / able to invoke the Insurrection Act?

Can you elaborate on the logic of how what someone has built affects whether it’s legal to invoke the Insurrection Act?

Elon did not build Tesla though. He is definitely the face of it, and Tesla definitely has the mcap it has largely bcs of him, but he is not the sole person responsible for Tesla.
