Looking for people who are frustrated with the changes and new direction for channels. Last week, we got a lot of good feedback from people happy with / excited about the changes. See below. Now I want to highlight what's still not working for people. Specifically: 1. What's frustrating? 2. What would make it better? https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0xcf622e07

What's frustrating? The fact that we need permission from a small handful of mods to access a supposed permissionless social network. I don't care about being "in the club", I just want to read and talk about things I find interesting. "Ohh but channels are like twitter spaces now!" Ok WHY? Twitter spaces suck ( a few people talking while everybody is just in the audience). Why is this the direction? What wasn't working with channels that they needed to be like Twitter spaces? Was it merely the spam / low effort content? https://warpcast.com/superphiz.eth/0xeeea1f28

See below for context. What channels were you actively casting in before that you can’t now? Permissionless platform refers to 1) sign up 2) casting 3) building your own client. Re Twitter Space — It’s an analogy to help people understand. We ran channels for a year life hashtags, very few ended up good. People treated them like hashtags vs. communities. So we were unable to boost casts in channels. https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0x2b1ab535

> What channels were you actively casting in before that you can’t now? A handful, though that is irrelevant. Do we need permission to cast in channels or not? It's analogous to every subreddit becoming private. It's not great. > People treated them like hashtags vs. communities ok so? More general channels (as you described, /food) will obviously be a catchall for generic casts. But more specific communities can emerge. /crypto vs /ethfinance for example.
