Reposting since a bunch of people didn't see the thread from this weekend: the plan for channels.

One way to think of Warpcast is like a testnet for Farcaster protocol mainnet. It won't always be the case, but while the protocol is still small and we're looking for the growth driver (the existential problem to solve for the protocol), Warpcast is planning to rapidly experiment off-protocol

Slightly off topic but any plans to add warps to the protocol?

Can’t wait to see which experiments you have for channels. A few that come to mind:

- gate the channel with a NFT or other on-chain pre-requisite
- reward users with channel tokens
- ability for a custom sorting algorithm
- decentralised publication like writingmonks.com

Zooming out, as a web3 social media network, it also has elements of trust and security that Twitter will never achieve, no matter how hard they work to make profiles "verified."
