1) perf: tg is super fast and responsive, wc still feels slow and clunky (realize unfair comp bc of web v native, but still) 2) lots of little things: grouping, per user read receipts, forwarding, editing, message previewing (long press to peak), mute for [n] time, etc

Smoother UX, just feels faster. Stickers and reactions. Soundbytes sharing. File sharing. It just enables people to express more.

The best TG chats I’m in are using topics (subchannels), combined with muting it helps to keep conversations more engaging in areas you care about Also Telegram is one of the smoothest and best-designed chat apps out there (only rivaled by WhatsApp imo), just feels nice to use (reactions, microinteractions, etc)

I think TG has an unfair advantage as a messenger, too many things work there better for instant messaging: - speed - message search and history - pinning - you can look through all the media in the chat, i.e. images and links - editing - easy to reply to others and keep track of the conversation

We can’t scroll back far enough in the chats. People are missing out on things. Telegram isn’t perfect at all, but we have a little more flexibility.

I've already given some feedback to a few of your team members, but I'll echo it here for extra visibility. Please give us a way to search group chats. Not being able to easily search for things makes it almost impossible to use a group chat with more than 10 people. That has to be an easy one to implement right?

To me TG offer a "greater guarantee" that the members are aware of new messages which is not as easily glanceable using FC channels (as there are no badges/notifications) + editing, message length, easily embed different content types, reaction, hyperlinking and overall speed and stability

I don't understand why you would move the group from here to telegram. Makes little sense. Similar to the move to discord, other than being able to index into sub channels (maybe this?)

Glad you asked! Not that it stops me but I have a feedback about DC pinned posts. It would be much more convenient if clicking on a pinned post took you directly to the actual post. Right now, when you click, you can read the post, but you can't copy or interact with the links in it.

I think relying on just one social platform limits growth.... its kind of a 'thing' that NFT projects utilize Discord & Tokens utilize TG.... Telegram has more than 900 million monthly active users, so can grow organically quicker.... plus people can sign up for TG for free where theres the cost barrier to joining FC.
