Anyone on FC play around with Passkeys yet? Have a few questions.

isn't it just a layer on webauthn though?

Since passkeys require iCloud Keychain to keep the webauthn private keys synced between devices it’s not clear how one would move ones passkeys out of the Apple ecosystem if one wishes to do so.

It’s more the concern of relying on an apple device - with a FIDO hardware key I can at least buy a backup and store in a vault somewhere… I guess I could do that with a backup iPhone but…¯\_(ツ)_/¯
