Is the goal to replace Frames v1 with Frames v2? For quick polls it makes a lot of sense to be able to vote and see results directly without entering a miniapp (a miniapp could have other benefits for other kind of polls tho). I think both formats could easily coexist and have specific use cases.

I have upgraded almost all my frames to v2! This is a great experience! But, some features like background execution that we previously discussed with @deodad, it could lead to supporting much more practical and powerful ideas! Thank you for any efforts!

I like that anyone can make a v1 frame by just adding some tags to their webpage. I also don’t like coding with packages so I try to minimize them if I ever use any so it helps with that

not building v1 personally, but the main use case for them imo is that they feel more isolated, you never leave the feed. it works great for simple frames that need 2-3 actions at most compared to a v2 frame which opens in a new modal, often greeted by another modal immediately prompting you to add to apps etc

Make v2s work with cast actions - /impact uses a v1 frame "Console" that interacts with casts. 1-tap on v1 buttons is a great feature for lots of interactions you can do without leaving your feed. Why turn 1-tap into a multi-step process that involves leaving the feed?
