We get a lot of requests for:

- video / audio
- better animated gifs
- nicer image UX
- polls
- bookmarks

All of these features would make Warpcast better, but none of them are going to unlock product-market fit. So we’re focused on channels since they are a new primitive.

Commodity features, need to find something that’s new

There are several media-focused channels now, why not think of some of these features as improvements to those channels?

That’s one way to put it - another less charitable way might be table stakes for the general population.

There’s a reason instagram and tiktok are orders of magnitude more widely used than twitter. That stuff is engaging and encourages people to be more creative than a text focus, IMO.
