The good critiques get plenty of distribution. People here crave good, intellectually honest takes.

What’s the difference?

Good takes assume the other party is rational / intelligent / sees the obvious moves and has a reason for not doing them (often with data you don’t have access to). 

Fine to not believe that yourself, but going to be hard to find an audience when you say “X is dumb” and it’s not grounded in solid evidence and/or experience.

Positive posts about the social network people are using and tech stack they are building on does well with people building in a space that’s moving at a frustratingly slow pace get engagement.

most of the "Farcaster/Base is amazing" posts on here are mid too

but a mid "Farcaster/Base is amazing" post will get substantially more play than a mid critique

that's the point, there's bias in what the audience wants

i find most critiques here are anecdotal, not saying it's wrong, but if you zoom out...

Most people will come here thinking of their favorite chains(@base etc) as brands.

facts. seen too many posts that sound like Reddit comments with none of the context
