What’s the difference?

Good takes assume the other party is rational / intelligent / sees the obvious moves and has a reason for not doing them (often with data you don’t have access to). 

Fine to not believe that yourself, but going to be hard to find an audience when you say “X is dumb” and it’s not grounded in solid evidence and/or experience.

without any substantial evidence, both are mid critiques, first is just doing it totally wrong, if I understand @kenny right, the 2nd does more numbers here because of the “bias” or normalcy or it plays into what the audience wants or is used to..
