I mourn the loss of decorum At one point, the society was functional and decorous. As we became dysfunctional, we used decorum as a veneer to hide the ugliness Now it's mask off, and everyone from the beggar to the king speaks and behaves in a vulgar manner It signals a further fall until we find grace once again

Feels like that need not be the case though? Like we made significant progress toward liberty while retaining class for the better part of the 1900s I think it's more coupled with speed of information. Yea this is what I see. Individual freedom >> higher variance Also, we might’ve just been in a unique moment in time post WWII and this is actually more the norm, idk.
