i find @cryptothegame a cool case study on leveraging the culture of crypto more than the tech

it needed very online, reasonably affluent, and interest aligned people to thrive more than it needed decentralized infra for season 1

think this is an under appreciated reason for consumer founders to build here

i've said it before and i'll say it again:

crypto's killer use case is social, not financial.

It’s both imo

The ultimate use case is still payments, but people get way too caught up on the technological side of that — social consensus is still at the root of all of this and so social is always going to come alongside anything financial
