Real q: when has turning social interactions into financial interactions ever made the social part better?

i think this happens in the markets more often than we think, starts financially but eventually leads to deeper social connection: work, investment in someone, etc

personally, would rather the majority of attention value go to ppl of a network than big social giants

"more often than we think" is the key - making it explicit is what makes people change their behaviour. measures become the target.
