I was on reddit for years, but was slowly getting tired of all the bots and the toxicity. In December 2023, I first heard of farcaster/warpcast, but didn't want to pay $5 to get in. I was of the mind "why pay for social media?". Then in Jan 24 I accidentally stumbled onto Degen via coingecko, not knowing it was a warpcast coin. Bought a small bag, did some digging and then joined warpcast (on Feb 16). Really happy with myself for that... I still occasionally go to reddit, their subreddits are just vast, and it will be a while till warpcast channels get close to that.

I’m thankful that my wife and I got married bought a house and started a family even though we had hella student loan debt. We grinded multiple jobs to be able to afford what we needed. Looking back 10+ years I couldn’t be happier we made the decisions we did

That I should always out the work in. I realized that I couldn’t always depend on people. And I had to be self sustained to a degree where I’d be able to stand by myself. I’m glad I made that decision a while ago

The choice of my past self made that my present self silently thanks for when I decided to go with my mom and dad in the city after living in the province for 14 years. It's not that easy to suddenly have a city life. The people are different, the place, the ambiance and everything. But after how many years, I keep on saying "luckily" i chose this path because there are a lot more opportunities here than in the province. My whole self and my whole life suddenly changed as well but in a good way.
