personally, i would try not to make any rash judgements of the new changes they give more power to the community and it will take days-weeks (perhaps even longer) for us to fully understand the implications devs are working feverishly around the new primitives…yes, there are problems. yes, i’m excited about where we’re headed

there were only 2 paths for farcaster on my opinion one was going tiktok/twitter style: purely entertainment and engagement second is what this update is about: nurturing tighter communities and quality conversations and connections

Hypersub team and Warpcast devs worked late into the night helping me with hypersub gated channels. There are bugs but they are being squashed left and right. Spam is almost non existent.

This is my take. I think it will be a net good, but it’s a big change. Hard to say until we let it play out some. Overall I’m happy with this change treating channels as a high priority
