I think Nerman is doing and always has done an amazing job on discord and I personally think its laser focus on that platform absolutely makes sense. If there is the need to integrate its governance voting on a separate website or on Warpcast instead of just Discord, we could create a custom governance section for Nouncil and other communities like the one on app.noggles.com/governance + a frame like the one below. Data would be fully in sync with Nerman and would allow communities to choose where to vote: discord, warpcast or custom page. We already had in mind to open our infra and governance could be the first step. @indexcard.eth any news about that wallet? Np if not. @fattybuthappy if we can’t rely on that wallet, mainnet is the only option. But first, I’m planning to draft a prop to give the dao the chance to decide what to do with that 3.6b allocation (around 22 eth) If For wins: we swap the nogs and send the eth to the treasury If against wins: we send the nogs With the burn and reorganisation of the supply we have in mind, the dao could be the only entity to control 10-15% of the supply. But I think an alignment about this is important so we will propose both options and let the dao decide.

gm! We are working on the transfer of 3.6B nogs (~21 ETH) to the DAO related to our, now interrupted, yearly mandate. This amount came out from the 1,767,573,428 nogs from 542 Nouns and 828 Lils stored into the treasury + 1,832,426,572 nogs that have been added from our unusued assets as a way to maximize the results through the releases we have in mind across the year. I saw there is a Base wallet that seems to be linked to the DAO: https://basescan.org/address/0xc2B42Fc9F9D8B2Cf86C068CaE131088095480082 Anybody knows if the DAO is able to interact with it? It seems just a simple wallet so who owns the private key? Just wanted to be sure about these things before choosing between sending the amount on this address or directly in the treasury. Thanks!

As I said, last year the decision to manage our assets that way and without any communication was incredibly stupid. But I really meant what I said in that message pipe. Chart seemed ready for a takeoff and Nogs made a x2 the day after that message.

lol can't believe it.. I remember I had a tx error sending that #2319 so I retried immediately but I selected another one almost identical instead of the right one. In reality the 2319 was actually sent too and since the #8159 was not in the raffles I never found out this error. jeez.. thanks. btw, I really meant what I told you in the chat

Actual number is: 1,767,573,428 nogs Made from 542 nouns and 828 lilnouns. Anyway, we increased the amount to 3.6B to maximize the results we had in mind for this yearly mandate. Even if the mandate stopped we will still stick to that amount.

Part of the supply of nogs was locked and heavily mixed in contracts on mainnet, mostly vested. That was something we couldn’t overcome cause they were locked even before the launch of the LP when we started to test the first versions of nogs. I sold part of that mixed supply unlocked on mainnet while It was clear tokenomics were flawed and overallocated and we were eventually going to burn basically everything with the rebalance of the lp, our team allocation included. Again, obviously I was wrong to not share anything and it was definitely a messed strategy. There is no much to say about this. With the stop of our stream I realised what the lack of communication of last year created and I’m sorry about that.

Because since the amount was already allocated there was no urgency to execute the tx immediately so we postponed the effective transaction for end the Q1. Obviously the situation was calm and positive at that time. Btw we are going to organise the tx these days. We are seeing if we can send the amount directly on mainnet or if instead we need to bridge it from Base. But I’ll send an update when everything is planned

gm! What happened last year is why the mandate for this year was suddenly interrupted and our core project took a huge hit. And it’s also why I agree it’s important to make nogs free and not a centralised asset of ours anymore. It’s clear that last year I managed that sell and the communication totally wrong and I know it will be hard to recover the trust of some people. But we are working on that.

Hey bix! Yes, that eth will allow us to execute point 3 (Expansion of the Infrastructure). We always shared that if the entire amount of the LP was going to become not necessary we would have used part of it for strategic initiatives and to increase the utilities around nogs. That’s why we decided to lock the presale for 1 year before an additional longer lock. That was the plan for the presale. A way to cover liquidity and have the flexibility to improve eventual flaws and enhance the utility after the first year. But again, nothing is set in stone. We are still in a brainstorming phase and we are also working on other alternatives. We are going to share these with you asap so you can give me your feedback
