I think Nerman is doing and always has done an amazing job on discord and I personally think its laser focus on that platform absolutely makes sense. If there is the need to integrate its governance voting on a separate website or on Warpcast instead of just Discord, we could create a custom governance section for Nouncil and other communities like the one on app.noggles.com/governance + a frame like the one below. Data would be fully in sync with Nerman and would allow communities to choose where to vote: discord, warpcast or custom page. We already had in mind to open our infra and governance could be the first step. gm! We are working on the transfer of 3.6B nogs (~21 ETH) to the DAO related to our, now interrupted, yearly mandate. This amount came out from the 1,767,573,428 nogs from 542 Nouns and 828 Lils stored into the treasury + 1,832,426,572 nogs that have been added from our unusued assets as a way to maximize the results through the releases we have in mind across the year. I saw there is a Base wallet that seems to be linked to the DAO: https://basescan.org/address/0xc2B42Fc9F9D8B2Cf86C068CaE131088095480082 Anybody knows if the DAO is able to interact with it? It seems just a simple wallet so who owns the private key? Just wanted to be sure about these things before choosing between sending the amount on this address or directly in the treasury. Thanks!

It's a bit frustrating that until 2 weeks ago we were creating some of the best infrastructures in the ecosystem and now everything we do is related to some sort of scam. We always shared the possibility to use part of our presale to make a strong rebalance of the supply and increase the rewards and utilities associated to nogs. That’s why we locked the presale for 1 year. In Nouns we are full of props that got funded and run without any execution. We always executed and continued to expand our infrastructure and supporting communities, mandate after mandate.

Gm everyone. Just shared this on camp but sharing it here as a thread too. Prop 766 has been a harsh blow to me and I took 2 days (over the weekend) to recover and reorganise our next steps. NOGS won’t go anywhere and we will continue to evolve it, just like we will continue to build for the ecosystem. Since everything happened so fast and this is our full time job, I’ll need some days to refocus and reorganise everything, from the pipeline of releases to the organisation of the team and everything else.

While I'm super excited we are finally facing the challenge of revenue generation within the DAO, it hits me to see the NOGS pool always oriented on the Against side. To increase participation and voting distribution we are planning to test a delegation program for nounish communities. The idea is delegating to the most active communities (Lils, Amigos, Gnars, Esports and so on) 300M-500M $nogs each. Voting power will be automatically associated to the NFTs of every collection. (for Esport we will work something out) This way, every holder will be able to join NOGS governance directly using their NFTs, no $nogs required in the wallet. At first, the experiment will run for limited time but if it works it can be extended. VWRs will be added as well with the goal to add more context/feedback to the proposer. If you have more ideas about how to include communities in governance let us know!

We started a first experiment of public voting in the nogs pool! Starting from Prop 730, you can now see the voter wallet and the amount of votes casted. This allows proposers to have a better view about consensus with the possibility to reach voters for feedback. https://app.noggles.com/governance

Looking for your opinion about $NOGS governance. Choices are: 1) Public voting: number of voters and wallets are public and visibile in the NOGS dashboard 2) Private voting: number of voters is public but wallets are hidden There are pros and cons for both these options. I'm more oriented towards 1 cause it's more transparent and still allows voters who want to stay private to vote from an anon wallet. Looking for everyone's opinion before pushing the release!

We are starting to open our governance system to other communities and fun experiments. SharkDAO ✅ $ccarella ✅ @ccarella.eth is using the system to create a shared governance around Noun 641 using $ccarella. (@gami.eth Noun 13 could be the next one) Soon, every token or NFT project could buy a Noun giving their holders a voice in the DAO as utility. The white label platform will then transform those communities into multi features Hubs with just a few clicks. ⌐◨-◨
