16/8 daily with 20/4 twice a week on off days. As others have mentioned, it improves mental clarity, decreases cravings, decreases frequency of “low points” in the day, and potentially encourages autophagy. No downsides besides social limitations.

YouTube is a similar mental model imo- crowdsourced video content that is not inherently social without a bidirectional graph. Users subscribe to channels, consume content, and can see what other people think about it. Interestingly, podcasts have thrived there .

Text can be scanned, images can be quickly flipped through, and video can convey a ton of information / stimulation in a short amount of time. All make the consumption experience easy > higher views > % of views convert to engagement > engagement encourages more posting. Hard to grow to B scale without this flywheel

TLDR: A frame for finding unclaimed airdrops! @daylight is a way to discover fun things to do onchain: mints, claims, votes, etc. 1. Recast this cast. 2. Check for unclaimed airdrops using this frame. 3. Claim them here: daylight.xyz. 4. Reply with how much $ @daylight finds for you! https://checker.daylight.xyz/

Strong advocate for garmin as a focused fitness wearable. Forerunner 955 hits the sweet spot for multi sport athletes in a lighter package than fenix

People are obsessed with what other people think about them. Especially teenagers. It’s what our entire consumer economy is built on lol

Not to be one of those guys, but an ice bath / cold shower within 5 min of waking really sets the tone for the day. Start with a hard thing, makes it easier to do the next hard thing.

Being home for the holidays has gotten me outside of my bubble to be reminded that most folks are focused on just getting by. It’s made me question.. what % of people are truly flourishing? Why isn’t this 100%? How do we bump those numbers up? Life is a brief flash and then it’s gone. No time to waste.

This is true so long as the dapps everyone use agree to respect reading / writing from the same data store. For instance, if you could port your Twitter followers to “politics Twitter” which doesnt show any content not tagged as politics, are you still reaching / connecting with your followers in the same way?

Invest in community college and job training programs so people’s skills are worth more. Massive shortage of skilled trade workers as older generation ages out (in US)

An analog is why people pay extra for luxury goods when functionally the core good is the same. In tech, I think it’s more attributed to switching costs. Eg I’m used to this ux, all my people interact in this product, and I’m a “notion/coda/etc” person vs docs for example. Do those go away with data portabil

In these examples, distribution and differentiated product experience created the moat. The difference now is (hopefully) we can incentivize people to create, maintain, and upgrade the underlying open protocols
