Big shoutout to @robrecht and @sinaver.eth for taking risks, being in the arena and building early payments solutions on Farcaster. 

I think there's still a lot space for payments on Farcaster beyond Warpcast's USDC - community coins like degen will be more incentive aligned with communities in the long run and I suspect Warpcast will stay boring with payments (USDC)

For what it's worth, I'm probably still going to use PayBot for all my bounty payouts.

If WC just allowed “Other” tokens, why use the bots?

If you think programming values (in this case automatic public goods funding / philanthropy) into currency is a good idea, you may like that as of next week Glo Dollar (USDGLO) payments will be supported through the bots.

It's like USDC, except that the Glo Foundation donates 100% of profits to public goods and charities. Glo users "donate, without donating".
