Big shoutout to @robrecht and @sinaver.eth for taking risks, being in the arena and building early payments solutions on Farcaster. I think there's still a lot space for payments on Farcaster beyond Warpcast's USDC - community coins like degen will be more incentive aligned with communities in the long run and I suspect Warpcast will stay boring with payments (USDC)

If you think programming values (in this case automatic public goods funding / philanthropy) into currency is a good idea, you may like that as of next week Glo Dollar (USDGLO) payments will be supported through the bots. It's like USDC, except that the Glo Foundation donates 100% of profits to public goods and charities. Glo users "donate, without donating".
