been thinking about LP fees, which is the 1% fee on every memecoin transaction going primarily to the platform making the token platforms taking 60% feels intuitively too much to me - but platforms can do as they please thats higher than the take rate on youtube(!) which is 55%, and youtube has a strong and entrenched distribution network effect as a web2 platform

in the rare case there’s a CTO (community take over), then thats potentially high - so LP reward distribution is nuanced

But YouTube cut is 45% (creator gets 55%). Also that cut is off all AdRev, which is not really the same as an LP fee IMO. Especially when the CPM is variable against niche. Agreed. In the spirit of decentralization, it would be great to have transparency around how these LPs are formed and to give creators some say or control over who holds the majority of their token supply.
