I think top of funnel discoverability is something to improve. 

Clear value prop, call to action to sign up, explain why there’s cost.

But the reality is word of mouth and invites from passionate existing users will be the best growth vector.

I think the Farcaster registration cost is the highest drop off stage of the funnel - most users don't have enough proof of value

The highest leverage opportunity right now is figuring out how to increase the perceived value to the user before getting them to pay; other apps use the freemium model for this problem

One possible approach is a trial period or read-only version. The former is susceptible to bots tho, I like the latter a lot: lurking is free

agree - lurking is free should be possible today on web and most clients; although not warpcast iOS. Perhaps it should be - including watching casts

100%, with shadow-following could be good, so you create a temp profile, you get to follow, but it’s like being shadow-banned on purpose / not allowed to post.
