One year later, what's your biggest frustration today as a crypto user?

most things in crypto are not meaningfully better, faster or cheaper than their web2 counterparts they're trying to displace (they don't add sufficient value to me as a consumer for me to use them regularly)

would classify this 1. Not enough stuff to do (that is worth doing)

this is also why I dislike how many crypto products are trying to turn into a luxury collectible rather than being trying to be better in other ways - I don‘t feel like paid collecting is a sufficiently frequent nor widespread consumer behavior & it seems resigned, targeting a smaller luxury market instead

unfortunately all those have strong network effects where the web2 incumbent has a better product for most users by virtue of the network effect (more people’s friends have a venmo than an ENS/daimo, and the cost difference is inconsequentially small)

Things that give me hope:

Sending money on CBW or Daimo is better because it’s cheaper, faster and global

News on Polymarket is better because it’s less bs and betters have skin in the game 

Building a following on Farcaster (channel or user) is better because you can take it with you across apps
